In general&sbquo ''production" is the activity of creating materials to make the physical and human environment and living conditions more civilized and cultural. Here&sbquo materials are not merely tangible assets but include intangible necessities&sbquo or services&sbquo such as transportation&sbquo healthcare. recreation&sbquo and education. In economics&sbquo every activity that creates assets and services subject to exchange or trade is defined as production. people need to engage in productive activities in order to maintain life and social relationships. These activities&sbquo however&sbquo naturally involve the consumptions of natural resources and the technological processes of treating and transforming them. Human beings have striven to increase productivity through improving&sbquo revising and even drastically advancing these technological processes. Moreover&sbquo the act of increasing productivity by organizing production is directly related to the socioeconomic System. This is an economic distribution within the mechanism of production and consumption. Regarding this distribution&sbquo the political system of a nation or society is interlocked in aIl cases with how the production is carried out. Today&sbquo we are facing the issue of the destruction of the global environment upon which our living environment is based. This i5 Why a revolutionary revision in production on a global scale is necessary. The pressIng issues regardIng desIgn and production are not confined to the historical context of production&sbquo but we must be aware that we have come to a point where these production systems should be treated as the prime issue in design.
