Russia Avant-Garde

"I've been thinking that the Russian Avant-Garde that ended with the era of the Russian czars at the beginning of the 20th century&sbquo was all essential and historical trigger for design that began due to capitalism and subconscious industrialism. I'm taking a journalistic view that the Russian Avant-Garude started by the influx of western capital and defeat in the Russo-Japanese War&sbquo and through Bloody Sunday in 1905. The Russian Avant-Garude was an accumulation of avant-garade and integrative expressive facts in art such as literature&sbquo drama&sbquo fine arts and architecture. At this time&sbquo the fusion of art genres also occurred&sbquo and design was derived from art.While the Russian Avant-Grade brought various western currents after impressionism closer to medieval Russian iconic expression and art nouveau&sbquo it progressed from art avant-garde to "art revolution" by sublimating it to Kasimir Malevich's Suprematism and Tatlin's Constructivism representatively. However&sbquo Mayakovsky&sbquo a central figure in the Russian Avant-Garde who once said&sbquo "The streets are our paint brushes and the plazes are our palettes&sbquo" eventually became despaired and said&sbquo "Art is crying&sbquo" and his idealism was suppressed and eventually crashed by the political system. After Lenin&sbquo Stalins's "socialism in one country" became "socialistic realism&sbquo" and those involved in the Russian Avant-Garde from artists to craftspersons were extensively purged by the homogenization of art in 1934. Avant garde until that time went on to be denied as formalism or cosmopolitism.　Today&sbquo due to the collapse of Soviet communism&sbquo reevaluation and review of the Russian Avant-Garde is beginning to be rekindled. I am presuming that research especially into the Fifth Economism had an avant-garde quality that was powerful enough to influence today's design&sbquo politics and economy. I am&sbquo however&sbquo disappointed that there is absolutely no movement to establish this research into design history or design study."
