Intent

Ito (intent) is the aim to accomplish something. It is the thing you consider to be the objective and target when you are trying to realize that aim. Ito or intent in design refers to the very presentation of how one will express the objective and target that has been proclaimed as the design concept this becomes a way to communicate either value-laden aims related to society&sbquo the times&sbquo etc&sbquo or a clear determination of intent regarding design utility and effectiveness. Accordingly&sbquo in determining form&sbquo for example&sbquo expressions based on design intent and the designed meaning must be readable. This can become a method of establishing the intent itself as the theme of the design. The problem for the designer's knowledge and judgment is that being unable to organize the relationship between design intent and the design concept&sbquo he will thereby confuse design concept with design intent and inevitably create products or design results that cannot be derived from his design solutions and their formal intention. This is connected to the designer's cognitive logic in establishing the design problem or determining the design solution: should he be aware of design intent when establishing the design problem&sbquo or hypothetically establish the design intent order to covey the design result? If we semitonically superimpose what is meant by the design result with what implies it&sbquo the question becomes how far we can convey what is meant through what is implied by design intent and what implies it. At the very least&sbquo it is necessary for intent to unify in a design semantics what the design concept refers to and what is implied by it. To achieve this&sbquo intent must comprise the meaning of the design concept vocabulary and a persuasive and convincing scenario-style presentation.
