Human sciences and advanced technology (HUSAT)

This technological concept or engineering was based on ergonomics&sbquo and was a design engineering curriculum intended to foster specialists in England. The name ESR (ergonomics & safety research) has become generalized recently perhaps since the definition of the concept of the human user was difficult. In advanced technology&sbquo or in the fields of cutting-edge technology&sbquo however&sbquo the human user is positioned as commonplace existence in which the human being exists with machines and devices. Therefore&sbquo it is natural to scientifically review the human user&sbquo and this will Iead to human-centered design as a concept of human-oriented human life. A specific result of HUSAT was publicized in England as iS0 ̄3407 "Human-centered design process for interactive system." I am opposed to a single axis of assessment criteria for the science of design&sbquo such as the above&sbquo becoming an international standard as is. This is because such attempts&sbquo and especially that of HUSAT&sbquo aim to establish a world standard only in the aspect of user interfaces of actual computer mounted devices. I would rather see a more advanced science of design that employs humanity&sbquo a more humane environment&sbquo or even harmony with nature as its major premise. From the point of view pf design&sbquo HUSAT is certainly linked with advancement in the background sciences of design such as ergonomics&sbquo universal design&sbquo human-centered design&sbquo and inclusive design. In that sense HUSAT is important as an academic field in which science and technology clearly advance the existence of the human being and environment.
